braatzledger — Terms of Service
Effective date: October 12, 2026
1. Who we are
braatzledger is a bookkeeping service operated by Rossi and Rovetti Flower Delivery, a Texas limited liability company, doing business as braatzledger and as Braatz & Company ("braatzledger", "we", "us"), 6 W. French Ave., Temple, Texas 76501. By creating an account or using braatzledger.com, the braatzledger app, or our text-message service (together, the "Service"), you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Use of the Service
The Service connects to your business bank and card accounts, categorizes your transactions, and keeps a set of books for your business. It is offered to businesses and to individuals 18 or older acting for a business. You are responsible for everyone who uses the Service under your account.
3. Your bank connection
You connect accounts through Plaid Inc. ("Plaid"). By connecting an account you authorize Plaid to retrieve your transaction data on our behalf and you agree to Plaid's End User Privacy Policy (https://plaid.com/legal). We receive transaction history, balances and account names; we never receive or store your bank login. You may disconnect an account at any time in Settings; disconnecting stops new data and does not delete the books already built, which §9 covers.
4. Account registration
You agree to give accurate, current and complete information and to keep it updated, and to keep your sign-in method secure. Tell us at once at help@braatzledger.com if you believe your account has been used without your permission.
5. Text messages (SMS)
Program. When you give us a mobile number in Settings and confirm it, braatzledger may text you about your own books: short questions asking which category a transaction belongs to, confirmations of your answers, and a brief summary of your account. We only text the number you entered and confirmed.
Frequency. Message frequency varies with your business's activity; we aim for no more than one question a day, inside the hours you set.
Opt-out. Reply STOP to any message to stop all texts, or turn texts off in Settings. We will send one final message confirming you have been unsubscribed. Reply START to opt back in.
Help. Reply HELP to any message, or email help@braatzledger.com, or call (254) 791-5111.
Rates. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Consent. Agreeing to receive texts is not a condition of purchasing or using the Service; you can use braatzledger entirely on the web. Your consent to receive texts, and your mobile number, are not shared with or sold to third parties for their marketing.
6. Fees and payment
Fees for the Service are those shown at sign-up or in Settings, billed in advance for each billing period through our payment processor. You authorize us to charge the payment method on file. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or stated otherwise in writing. We may change fees with at least 30 days' notice by email; continued use after the change takes effect is acceptance.
7. Cancellation
You may cancel at any time in Settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. On cancellation we stop collecting data; your books remain available for export for 90 days, after which §9 applies.
8. What the Service is not
braatzledger keeps books; it does not give accounting, tax or legal advice, and it is not a substitute for a licensed accountant, CPA or attorney. Categorizations are suggestions you confirm, and you are responsible for your business's filings and for reviewing the books before relying on them. Where a human bookkeeper reviews your transactions for you, that review is part of the Service and does not change this section.
9. Your data
The books are yours. You can export them at any time in a standard format. When you delete your account, or 90 days after cancellation, we delete your transaction data and books, except what we must keep for legal, tax or security reasons, which we keep only as long as required. Our Privacy Policy describes what we collect and how we use it.
10. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, text, graphics, logos and designs, belongs to Rossi and Rovetti Flower Delivery (doing business as braatzledger) or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for your business while your account is active.
11. Prohibited uses
You may not use the Service for any unlawful purpose; to connect accounts you are not authorized to connect; to interfere with or probe the Service's security; to resell the Service; or to infringe anyone's intellectual property.
12. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms by posting the new version on this page with a new effective date, and, for material changes, by emailing you. Continued use after the change takes effect is acceptance.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising from the Service will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Bell County, Texas, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
